UNUSUAL TRADITION: Residents Of A Community Beat Up Corpse Of Man Who Committed Suicide

For daring to end your life because you have probably had enough of this life, your hapless corpse gets flogged by your kinsmen to atone for the desecration committed— how worst can a man’s life get, even in death you still have no peace.
For what looks like tradition in one Kenyan community, a corpse is subjected to inconsiderate beatings should their death be at the back of suicide .
Residents of Shikoye village in Shirere sub-county of Kakamega county, Kenya, came together and beat up the dead body of a man who committed suicide. The body of 36-year-old Nimrod Alusiola, was found hanging from the roof of his house.
In as much as this is insanely funny, I mean why waste your strength on someone who cannot feel a tad bit of pain all in the name of tradition— it is pathetic. Instead of using that strength to go till the lands for farming, you are there executing lashes. Tradition indeed!.
