Mario Lopez Welcomes Third Child With Wife Courtney Mazza Shares First Photo Of Son Santino

Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Mazza have welcomed their third child. The Extra co-host shared the good news with fans via social media on Monday afternoon.

“It’s a BOY!!!! Healthy, beautiful baby boy. Santino Rafael Lopez! Baby & Mom are doing great. Mrs. Lopez came through like a Champ!” the 45-year-old proud papa captioned his Instagram post of the newest member of the family.

Lopez and Mazza are already parents to daughter Gia, 8-years-old and son Dominic, 5-years-old. Their two children played an intracule part of the TV personality and Broadway dancer sharing the good news their family was expanding last winter.

“Lopez family update. I’m crazy with work as usual. Mrs. Lopez, what about you?” the former Saved by the Bell star shared in a video that showcased his daughter’s dancing and his son’s wrestling before turning the camera to his lovely wife and her growing baby bump.

“I’m having a baby,” announced the 36-year-old answering her husband’s question.

“We are adding to the team! We’re gonna be a party of five. We don’t know what we’re having … if it’s gonna be a boy or a girl,” Lopez continued the family video.

The couple went old school with their third child by not finding out the sex of the baby before the little one was born. There was no big over the top gender reveal this time around. Lopez explained shortly after announcing they were expecting baby number three that the entire family wanted to be surprised.

Throughout Mazza’s pregnancy, they were continually giving updates on how she was feeling, as well as how Dom and Gia were preparing to have a new brother or sister. In April Lopez revealed his two kids were only having one issue with the baby. They were fighting over his or her name.

He also announced the new baby’s name would be a family decision based on two different attributes.

“They’re both fired up! We have some contenders. The name is definitely going to be Italian, definitely going to be Catholic. That we know,” the actor shared with US Weekly in the spring.
