Mariah Carey has gotten engaged to her shiny new boyfriend James Packer, just over a year after her very public split from ex Nick Cannon.
The pair have been dating for barely a year, but they seem comfortable enough to schedule a walk down the aisle.
“A close friend of Mr. Packer confirmed the couple were engaged and said they were over the moon that James has found such happiness with Mariah,” a source told CNN.
Packer, a businessman, is recognised by Forbes as Australia’s fourth richest man, worth a reported $4.6bn. They were first spotted together in public last June.
