Lea Michele gets tattoo in honour of Cory Monteith
Lea Michele took to Twitter to share her new tattoo in honour of the late Cory Monteith.
Michele and Monteith dated for almost two years until Monteith tragically passed away in 2013. The two met on their hit TV show Glee, where they played Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson.
Their on-screen characters were also the inspiration for Michele’s newest tattoo. The singer got a tiny “5” tattooed on her body. The number “5” was Finn Hudson’s jersey number on Glee. Michele captioned the photo with “for my quarterback”.

This wasn’t the only tattoo the 29-year-old got in honour of a loved one. Michele also shared on Instagram that she lost her beloved grandmother recently. In honour of her, she got a tiny coffee cup tattooed on her finger. She wrote, “She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old. She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I’ve ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma and I loved her.”
We at CelebMix extend our deepest sympathies to Lea Michele and her family after the loss of her grandmother.
