Her roles include the films Jurassic World, The Unicorn, The Wrong Missy, and The Out-Laws, and the shows Are You There, Chelsea?, Hot in Cleveland, Orange Is the New Black, Clipped, Crashing, The Big Bang Theory, Harvey Girls Forever!, in voice performance; and Good Girls. She has run the podcasts With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus, Laptime with Lauren Lapkus, Threedom, Raised by TV, and Newcomers. She is 5′10″.

Lauren is married to actor Mike Castle, with whom she has a daughter.
