Karen McDougal in Workout Gear is "Pure Michigan"
Karen McDougal is getting fit in Michigan. In a new social media post the model at the center of the Donald Trump trial shows off her amazing body in workout clothes during a vacation up north. "Mackinac Island fun 🫶🏼Pure #Michigan," she captioned the Instagram post. How does the star approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
"I started exercising because I was doing a lot of photo shoots for fitness publications," Karen told Muscle & Fitness about her motivation to sweat. "I soon discovered that I loved what working out did for my body!" Today, she values her regular workouts more for their health benefits than aesthetics. "Exercise makes you feel better; it gives you energy and keeps you strong like nothing else!"
Karen works out almost every day. "I hit the gym five times a week and rotate body parts to focus on," she told Star. "On Monday and Thursday's I do 10 minutes of cardio and move onto working my lower body with squats, lunges, hamstring curls, and other leg exercises. Tuesdays and Fridays I do 30 minutes of cardio and then work my triceps and biceps with free weights and cables. On Wednesdays I make sure to do 30 minutes of cardio and then work my shoulders, back and chest. The results are amazing. My doctor marvels at my heart health. It helps keep a positive attitude and overcome depression. It helps me feel healthy from the inside out."
Karen sticks to a clean diet. Her favorite foods include oatmeal, salmon, chicken, and broccoli. However she also has a sweet tooth. "My body craves sugar!" she told Muscle & Fitness . "I eat clean mostly and work out, so I don't feel too guilty about eating sweets."
Karen is a big advocate of hydration. "Drinking water makes your skin look nicer and flushes out toxins," says McDougal, revealing to Muscle & Fitness that she drinks several liters of water a day plus three to five green teas.
Karen loves drinking her nutrients. "Juicing is a great way to get a lot of nutrients quickly, same with soup," she told Us. Her go-to drink? Celery, apple, cucumber, spinach, orange, banana, and lemon.
