2021 VGMA LIVE Full Winners and LIVEBLOG

The 2021 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, officially VGMA22, is underway at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The red carpet has kicked off proceedings, with the main awards show to start much, much later.

We know it’s not the VGMA without a late start and the show ending 3am Sunday.

The Red Carpet has started with Elikem Kumordzie and Regina Van Helvert as hosts!

10:04 PM: Okyeame Kwame just stepped on the red carpet and revealed he had no idea McBrown was to join him on stage last night. He says he was ambushed and felt in shock!

11:08PM- Best Reggae/Dancehall song goes to Adina’s ‘Why’

11:12PM: Efya, Ghana’s best vocalist hands down giving us a soothing and magnificent performance!

11:21PM: It’s the turn of Mr Drew to entertain the crowd and those watching all over the country.

11:32: After a lengthy break, the Best Hip-Hop song award is being announced, and the winner is – ‘Sore’ by Yaw Tog

11:34PM: The best hiplife song award goes to ‘No Dulling’ by Keche ft Kuami Eugene

11:37: The Best Afrobeat/Afropop song award goes to ‘Say Cheese’ by KiDi. That’s the young man’s 2nd award on the night! He’s on fire!

The way things are going, KiDi might very well win the artiste of the year award.

11:42PM: The rap queen Eno Barony storms the stage for a magnificent performance!

11:49PM: It is no exaggeration to say Eno was more than magnificent. She was sensational!
